helloworld
Hi all, Looking at purchasing an ESI Gigaport HD+ audio interface (http://www.esi-audio...ts/gigaporthd+/) after reading some positive reactions here and elsewhere. I was wondering if anyone had experience of running it with Multiplay (http://www.da-share....ware/multiplay/)? Couldn't find any current posts about it, but I did find this ancient forum post (http://qa.staudio.de...mode=0&msg=4184) suggesting it might not support multiple channels - but it references a different model in the Gigaport range, and obviously Multiplay has been updated since then too. Thanks!
cedd
Can't say for sure, but the HD+ appears to the PC as an ASIO and WDM device. Think WDM might allow multiplay to use it as a multiple output card, but afraid I can't be 100% sure.

Can't say for sure, but the HD+ appears to the PC as a ... WDM device. On the WDM front does it appear as one stereo device or as four stereo devices? cedd
Can't say for Multiplay, but for my friend's own software he's written, it appears as 4 stereo WDM devices and 4 stereo ASIO devices.
