Video Playback

Arkaos doesn't come with a license for 3 machines, but you can move it across machines.

Also, don't assume it will play audio; it does sometimes, but it's not designed to, so it won't play audio on every clip. it most likely depends on the format, but what that is I don't know.

Interestsing, but irrelevant.

Read the OP - he wants to display on two screens, and have some control visible from a third.

Using a media server such as Arkaos means that the 'visible control' will be handled by his lighting console.

As to showing different content on the two screens:

Turn off the smooth-edge blending.

Adjust the size and position of Layer 1 to fill Screen 1

Adjust the size and position of Layer 2 to fill Screen 2

Then play content 1 on layer 1, and content 2 on layer 2.

If you want to stick effects over the top, then size and position half the layers on one screen and the other half on the other screen.

if its just a straight copy of the screen ie 1 image onto 2 screens jsut use a video Distro Amp (DA)depending on the size of the distro amp this and continue to 'n' of screens allowing you to view the out put on a screen in front of you while also placing the same image onto mutiple projectors.

Just remember to set the video size for the screen not the local monitor
