Jivemaster
A friend wants to optimise his headset radio mic sound, and is looking for ideas. Its out of my expertise, so, can anyone help please. choice of capsule, choice of fx, ..... Oh he is a travelling dance teacher using venue supplied PA. Shez
Soooo many variables... Can you find out what mic he's using currently? Shouldn't be any FX on there! The venue supplied PA will probably be the biggest factor & also the one over which he has least control. Even the most expensive mic will sound rubbish through a really badly abused PA. StevieR
One thing that pops to mind is the fact that he would probably need a headset that held onto his head firmly - even under extreme movement. Perhaps look at the Audio Technica ATM73a which can be wired to fit any beltpack TX.
Jivemaster
He's in Argentina ATM refreshing his tango and his mailbox is full. So can I discuss this again later please.
