paulears Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 I've no idea, but they had a dedicated site for XG users, plenty of internet sites link to it, but it has been closed down. It was really useful as it gave neat sysex dumps that could re-programme many of their synths with totally different sound sets - the CS range with their great dance style sounds were popular, but many other XG devices had the CS sound set already installed, but no way to activate it from the panel. I suspect that Yamaha just decided it wasn't worth developing further, and left Roland with GS to get on with it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
