30m DVI cable

The item you linked to is an analogue VGA cable, not a digital DVI cable. The problem with the Digital DVI cabling is that the losses due to the cable over lengths from about 5m onwards can mean that when the signal reaches the destination, it is unreadable due to the signal not being strong enough. This genarally give no image.

1080p is a digital format, the bandwidth is too high for analogue copper cable. If you want to pump 1080p over length properly, fibre optic DVI is the most cost effective professional option as it's lossless. Copper DVI digital cables are ok to about 10m, but any more than that and you will start to get digital artefacts on your picture. We get our fibre DVI cables from DVI Gear in the US, http://www2.dvigear.com/ they're a lot cheaper than any companies I have spoken with over here. Its not particularly delicate and you can put in on a cable drum and use it like normal cable.

Solstace, if you would like a demo, you're more than welcome to pop round to our venue in London.
