Fumes, overspray, wet paint at rip-out, all mitigate against. Flammable content cans even constitute a risk.

 

The sound of spray painting and the smell should announce the action to the audience also, - before the curtain rises. Suspension of dis belief will be destroyed. Look at the rtim that can go on UPVC frames, or make a frame that looks OK both ways round and have one side each colour.
