I installed Network Magic on my Carillon computer, and can't find a way of stopping it doing 'something' - whatever it does - presumably some kind of network monitoring, because when it does it I get a tiny glitch in the audio output which is very annoying. Try disabling any unused network cards in the computer, I've had one in the past that caused audio playback to hickup when it periodically did somthing related to checking to see if there was cable pluged in to the card or not (disabling or plugging it in to a network cleared it up).
