nothingatall666
hey :) does anyone know how good the YAMAHA MG 32/14FX is? I am thinking of buying it as it has 32inputs and isn't over £1000.... it looks alright and thomann.de are selling it for GBP 732.48 [ 821.18 with a case ] so is there any reason that I shouldn't buy it... or any reason to get me more enthusiastic about buying it ? thanks :D
Ben Langfeld
There's one sat in my bedroom at the moment. It's a fairly decent desk. The EQ isn't anything special, it only has four groups, there's no direct outs and no phase reversal, but other than that, it's good enough for basic stuff. nothingatall666
yeh I think 1 on the things that makes me not want to buy it is because the'res no direct outs. but I suppoze if I got that desparate I would just split the imputs :) thanks for the comment :D
Peter Chivers
You can always get round the absence of direct outs on a desk by using a 'stereo' jack with the tip and ring joined together and feeding the signal out to your recorder/soundcard whatever. Connect the screen to the sleeve as usual.Peter
Ben Langfeld
Peter obviously referring to inserts there, for the benefit of anyone who might not have caught on. :D
