okay, your network administrator is going to have to get his hands mucky with this one.. without knowing how your network is arranged its hard to tell how to set this up exactly..

^^ this is the general howto that I found.

 

however, this only really needs to be automated at the receiver end, where you would script the command

 

vlc udp:@239.255.12.42

 

where 239.255.12.42 is your network's multicast address. this is where your network administrator could help you.

 

from the sending end, you simply open a "capture device" and stream udp to the same multicast address.
