Another thought?

 

Are you using any DSP in this venue for limiting or crossover functions?

 

If so - is there a spare output you could generate a spare mono sum full range mix from and bring that out into the booth via a vca or pot for local volume which could then be patched into the booth amp if the visiting mixer doesn't have a booth output?

Au contraire, if you look at the specs, it is a little better than just being a simple resistive network...

The unit linked to is a simple resistive network and a transformer. (with unbalanced inputs, Original poster was looking for a balanced solution)

 

Does not solve the cross talk issue on the stereo source material if you want to keep it stereo and split it.

 

(And I would not ground the centre tap if I was using on a Desk input)
