I'm returning to eat humble pie. Working on the Congo Jr. today I noticed that the number pad was, in fact, on the left and not on the right as I had incorrectly remembered.
I suppose it really depends on which side you put a fader wing!

To solve that debate, you could always buy a Leap Frog and a USB keypad - you can then use the keypad wherever you like (left, right, on your knee?) :D
Or buy a Congo Junior with fader wing (or two 2x10 wings) and put the faders anywhere you want.

I don't understand why you posted that Peter - you could do that to many modern consoles (EOS, Congo, Ion, Congo Jr, Jands Vista, Strand Light Palette etc etc) - but surely the point of choosing a modern console is that you like the thing!

If the first thing you do is replace the numeric input device, why did you bother?
