You could adapt those Furse floods to by removing the lamp base and reflector and bolting in a 150w flood

I like that idea...but a tiny part of me is wondering why go to the effort of changing the bulbs. Apart from asthetic, what difference would I have of putting the new floods in the old boxes?

Either I'm being very tired, or I didnt make myself clear enough

I understand the new lights will be brighter...but I cant see the advantage, apart from asthetics of putting them in the old boxes - especially if I've taken the reflector out.

Sorry to be so dumb...it is the weekend!

The top pic (the lens) looks like it could be a lens from a follow spot. The teflon-coated ring on the right would run on a rod, probably on the base of the unit, and the screw fitting probably held a handle that would stick out of the side of the unit.

Just to drag this thread up again but ive been doing a bit more investigating!

The large lens fits inside the ZS1200!

Thanks for the idea Grahame!
