Diane4416
So, this is for the OTHER production I'm due to start next month, thought I'd get a head start. It's a production of a small play called the Smiling State at Hackney Empire, London. We need a dead young female body (supposedly the daughter of the family, long story!!!) to be onstage, half buried/mostly buried for the entire play, up until about six pages before the end. The face (and possibly some of the body) has to look rotten, as if shes been lying there for some time dead already. Anyone have any ideas where I could track this sort of thing down??????? WiLL
Just a suggestion, maybe drop an email/phone call to someone at one of the technical colleges to see if they have any budding final year students looking for something to do for their final project in the way of prop-making/special effects? Jivemaster
http://www.spservices.co.uk/index.php/cPath/31 Might offer some clues! You havent said how big the body should be - age 2? age12? nor what happens in the final 6 pages that's different from the beginning.
