cliveybaby Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 Right as usual the price range asked for has been blown away buy the response one post questioned the durability of winners/rovers I have 16, 8 of each owned since 2003 all still perfect having been used around 800 timesin that period for around 6 hours each time and then packed in case and sent to next venue how much more reliable can they be for less than 200 a head when I brought them they were 260 each very, very, very good reliable lights everybody please put your views in context Cliveybaby Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jamtastic3 Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 I think that when the OP talks about the colour wheel changing fast, he's looking for fewer nessassary colours on a wheel (say 6) than having 11 colours, so getting from colour 2 to 11 will create a nasty colour scroll look. As for the CP Miniscan HPE's - Love them but I do hate how the gobo wheel is very slow when gobo changing. I aslo hate how the fans like to die on you after a while. Remember that these are very well built units and are pretty heavy compared to your Dynamo's! Lamps could be costly but costs will be cheaper over time compared to halogens.
