little explanation, haze was not consistent for this gig, we had two crackers one packed up in the focusing session, and the other either chucked out all it was worth, more of a smoke effect than haze, or it'd give nothing. but to be fair that was the least of my problems.

See what I mean? silly crackers

(Still Got some hair left, after using the frog for a day, it's not so much the fact it's a frog, but that desk kept on crashing)

neville's island

this was the show Neville's island , there was a literally tons of water on stage as the director wanted the actors to be able to swim onto shore , we did both the lighting and sound on this show, I must say it was a fun show to design!!

Moderation: CONTENT CONTROL - Can we please stop posting pictures of kit! This topic is about pictures of the show, not the equipment that produced it! There are so many off, and almost off-topic posts it is impossible to edit without making many comments pointless - so for the moment, I have removed those from today, and would ask that we don't have any more posted. From this point on, any equipment posts will be removed - so if you have show pics, post them up - but please, let's stop the gear pictures.

Hmm... 1st pic.. venue looks familiar... Think its the ceiling. I guess.. Brum metropole?

Nice gobo work on the cloths in the midsummer nights dream pix. Or is it the cuts/'shreds' in the cloth that make the beam image look like that. Either way, looks good.

This weekends job.

Starting the Buñol festival (the town where I live) opens with an open air concert, featuring the towns two bands.

The festival ends with "La Tomatina"

(Google images for La Tomatina)

My work provided the lighting and sound for a live TV broadcast.

Many friends featured in the first band. (El Centro Instructivo Musical La Armónica de Buñol)

My girlfriend, her brother and father were in the 2nd, which played a stunning peice flawlessly and recieved a 20minute standing ovation! (la Sociedad Musical La Artística de Buñol)

an amazing night and I'm pretty chuffed, everything went without a single hitch (rare for live TV) and I've discovered my girlfriend has yet another amazing tallent!!!

The last track (girlfriends band) can be heard here: http://www.telefonica.net/web2/colinbone/track1.mp3 for those who like classic fm

(Suite from the film "Henry the fifth" by Patrick Doyle) 56K warning!!! 14MB

<jump to 8mins 20, turn it up and enjoy!>

edit:url corrections

*NOTE MP3 will only be there a short time due to the size, so if a download fails, its because I deleted it*
