Well it was a Polish company using standard Par64s and fresnels in a venue called The Old College Quad in Edinburgh. Slightly worrying when it started to rain (heavily) on several occasions! It was an amazing show especially at the end with the steel structure you can see (representing Glamis Castle) engulfed in flames! This year I am dealing with a Czech company with equally slack views on electrical and fire safety - so much so I have had to replace most of their lights - and their propane tanks ( for home made Flambeaux type burners) as their definition of a regulator was basically an additional in-line tap with no blow-back protection! Oh what an amusing meeting I had with the Fire safety Officer last night (3 hours before the show went up)! At one point they set fire to a member of the cast during the show who is wearing a home-made fire-proof jacket!! The Fire Officer insisted we demonstrate this for two reasons - 1) To demonstrate that the actor was not injured 2) He wanted a new screensaver! I'll post some photos soon!
