Soundcraft Ghost LE Meterbridge modification

Hi,

 

Next week I plan to try and perform the meterbridge modification to allow us to monitor the levels on the LINE/MIC input on our Soundcraft Ghost LE.

 

Before embarking on this I thought I would see if anyone else has done this themselves and if so whether they have any tips/suggestions.

 

I've read the relevant part of the manual and it all seems fine but just wanted to ask anyway. One think in particular that isn't described very well is how the back panel will come off - will this be the whole underside of the mixer. In which case is it best to place the mixer upside down while doing this modification?
