I've actually seen both the Honcai LED Fixture and the Elation/GLP Impression.

They are completely different fixtures and GLP fixtures are made somewhere

but not at Honcai's factory.

 

I've talked to the Honcai people and they said that they are replicas and

the brightness of the Honcai units are not that impressive compared to

the Elation/GLP Impression plus they tend to reset itself quite a lot too.

 

PR Lighting and other chinese companies are coming out with their GLP

Elation Impression knock-offs too, just with a different base.

Well, you've got to admire their honesty..I guess they didnt sell you a shed-load then?

Given their high price, I'd rather spend $800 more and get an Impression instead.
