Why don't you ask the people who are setting it up - you're jumping the gun really. We can't help if the kit's not even in use yet. I'm not really certain I'd have selected that mixer though - it's quite useful for live work with the grouping and for project studios where you rarely record many channels at once. The trouble is that Logic is designed to do practically all the processing and mixing, so in most cases you'll just use two channels for left and right out of the computer, maybe one or two for headphones sends . It's a very wasteful way of getting a few microphones up to line level! It's the kind of product that we were using ten years ago. Unless they're planning on using it for live work, I don't really see it having a place in a state of the art studio really?
