rossmck Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 If you want something that students are going to come across in theatre-land, that would be the one to go for.I'd have to agree - it seems to have become a defacto standard in the same way that the Strand 500 series once was.I've rarely seen a GrandMA in theatre, unless it's been brought in to control lights ... What else would you do with it ;) ... sorry couldn't resist but yes they certainly are less common that said I can think of a few big musical tours running them. As an aside, I've also seen some Avolites consoles (running the newer Titan software) cropping up more and more - I quite like it but still don't think of them as a "theatre" desk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
