peter
Does anyone have a manual for an ARRI Mirage, ideally in pdf format? I can't find anything more than user-written quick start guides online. Thanks Peter

martinw
Try ETC - They made this console and sold it as the Microvision FX in the USA. Martin
peter
Thanks for the tipoff Martin. I've now found a microvision manual from the ETC website, so am off to study it. Be nice if they documented that sort of thing somewhere
gareth
To be honest, Peter, the Arri Mirage/Microvision does so little that, as long as you understand the basic principles of programming Arri/ETC desks (remember to hit Rel if you don't want things tracking through!!), you can't go far wrong ... Andrew C
That's about it; plus 5 pages of 6 subs, the video output is CGA or some such, and a VGA monitor won't work (well it will but you don't see the outer edges of the display). A 1:1 patch will also patch chan 76 to 1, 77 to 2 etc. assuming a 75 chann desk. If Peter has any specific Qs, I'll be happy to get my manual out and look things up! peter
Thanks for the offer guys. I'm after the manual for my board-op, so I'll point him in this direction if he gets stuck. Peter
