spence88
Hi Guys, Just a quick question. I currently have a starcloth that has had some sun exposure over the summer season and is need of being spray painted black again. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience in this department. Would regular off the shelf black spray paint work well enough? I know I'm going to need about 10 cans to do it properly. I am located in the Canary Islands. Thank you
Brian
...spray painted black again. You say 'again' so are we to deduce that it's been spray painted before?
spence88
No Brian, It was black cloth when installed and the cloth has faded slightly due to sun exposure. Sorry, reading it again it does make it sound it has been painted once before.
kerry davies
I have a vague recollection that they dye them rather than spray them. Covers and Linings renovate star cloth so it might be worth an email or call.My link Edit to add; of course flameproofing makes a difference to whether you can actually spray paint them.
