DanSteely
Hi, In my efforts to service an elderly Soundcraft Delta I'd like to add some lubrication to make the travel on the ALPS K faders a bit smoother.. To that end, what's the correct stuff to use? BTW: electronically and sonically they work just fine... Many thanks
mervaka
I've got a can of Servisol Super 10 here. Never use WD-40! In extreme cases, I've opened them up and pulled out the crud. Be careful with the wiper.
Oldradiohand
Dismantle as far as you can, clean the sliders with switchcleaner, dry and lube with some silicon grease. Clean the tracks and wipers with distilled water and a cotton bud.
DanSteely
Thanks Mervaka & ORH, The two halves open nicely and have been de-fluffed. The tracks appear fine and have ordered some Servisol Super 10. Thanks guys..
