alistermorton
You need an abrasive spefically designed for removing paint rather than for sanding wood. I've got "sandpaper" for use in a hand sanding block which is specially made to remove paint - it doesn't clog whereas sandpaper for smotthin wood clogs straight away when used to remove paint. Paint removal abrasives are both coarse and sparse, and have a different shaped abrasive particle IME.
