fincaman Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 You have probably checked this but Studiomaster had a habit of fitting a rotary master volume control on the mixer panel as well as the sliders, if it has one make sure it's not turned down. jimbo123 Posted November 9, 2013 Author Share Posted November 9, 2013 Hi all. taken both amp modules out insulated any live ends. & now the mixer is working great no peaking & all affects are working OK.using headphones to monitor the sound & its back to normal.would you say I have faulty amps or is there a fault on the power supply boardI've gone through all the outputs & other transistors, checked all the small tranny's & diodes / fusable links etc cant find any faultswhat I have to do is check the voltages at ic2 ic3 ba4560 & ic5 4538 but no fuses blown & br1 & br2 are fineafter that I can't think where to go next ( maybe the pub) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
