I happened to look for something about the Masterpiece 108 in google and one of the results was BR. Since then I've been on here non stop. This is a really useful and helpful site. Yet I still forget the address so if I'm on a computer other than at home, I type in 'blue room theatre backstage' and it comes up as the first result.

I ended up here after a really nice technician pointed the way.

I wish I could remember his user name, because he and the crew at his theatre were so nice to a very stressed and upset little me, while I was in a horrid tour experience.

As for the 'other' category, I know a friend of mine looked it up after reading my t-shirt logo. That probably counts.

(only he's not a technician and I think he thought 'blue'-room had more to do with porn! Imagine his disappointment at finding out my type of porn is a lee filter swatch book.)

Go on, share the venue name...always good for people to get nice feedback!

I am allowed to vote in this poll, or am I considered a "fixture" here?

I found it in a very unusual way... I was clearing some old junk out of a disused attic room. Anyway, there was this old wardrobe in the corner, and for some reason I felt compelled to climb inside.

Climbing inside and closing the door, I discovered that, beyond the musty clothes on the ancient rail, there lay some strange new land...and here I am, searching for Aslan and trying not to be turned to stone by a wicked queen.

Alternatively, heard folk at uni talking bout it on and off and stopped by a couple of weeks ago.

I do believe I was googling something but I can't quite remember what it was. It was something Uni related because I remember adding the TBR into my bibliography!! I think it might have been to do with additive and subtractive colour mixing but I dont know what key words I would have used to get here. Sorry....

I fell out with the ABTT because they felt, as a learned body, it was wrong to complain about the standard of punctuation and grammar used in messages. Had I had the energy, I would have taken it further with the ABTT.

I came here after a prolonged period of sulking................

Another Other although could have been 'linked from other forum' I suppose. Saw the post on (I think) the stagecraft mailing list about a new trial web forum looking for select members and somehow sneaked under the bar.
