rhysrodwell Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 So I am Currently working on a project in which a whole bottle of red wine needs to be spilt everywhere including clothing and wooden flooring. My question is does anyone know of a red wine alternative that WON'T stain? It needs to be red wine as the colour is important for the impact of the scene. ImagineerTom Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Unless everything it touches is varnished and sealed to within an inch of its life ANY colourant you use is going to stain after multiple performances. Personally I'd be looking at having "pre-made" stains/spills on everything and tinted water in the bottle so that you can splash it around without worry of staining and "reveal" some epic stains/spills on key items. MarkPAman Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Having seen (and smelled) coffee a couple of minutes before, not one of the audience seemed to notice that it was only water that got spilled over an actress's skirt.
