ltully
Hello, I have a media server with a composite bnc input on it. I want to buy some sort of box that will convert HD-SDI and SDI in to composite bnc. Any one know of such product? Thanks Liam
Shez
Blackmagic Designs do a SDI to analogue converter. Plenty of options for different input & output formats.
henny
What is the media server ?? would you be better just adding a Decklink Min recorder for £99 - and keep everything at HD
Dave m
HD-SDI to Composite takes an age to process through the converter boxes and the boxes themselves are not cheap.maybe £200 a box? I'd upgrade the server if it is cheaper or even if slightly more expensive than the other way.

Javis
Hello,Kramer do a good scan converter. VP-505 HDSDI to CY/V. However if you are looking at using the source as a live video to overlay on other layers on the hippo you are going to get 30m/s or so delay with this type of conversion.
