DominicC
Need your help. We need your opinion on which of the two fixtures is better? A Martin MAC-2000 ProfileII or a Robe Colorspot 1200AT?
bright spark
I know FOR A FACT this has been asked before. But IIRC this was for a show not dry hire stock.... Moderators??? Indeed it has, and the threads have been duly merged.
BlueShift
The Robe units are great - and the cost difference is astounding, the robe 1200AT's are 1/2 the price of a Mac2000 but I would have to say have much more even optics. Features wise they are similar, but tje optics on the robe 1200's win hands down. id go robe
DominicC
What about their beam sizes? the MAC2000 is only 10-28degrees while the colorspot 1200 has a 13-42degress zoom so the beam of the Colorspot 1200 is bigger. Would that be a huge factor for lighitng directors? thanks!
MartinT
Another point to note if you're buying - robe kit has a 2 year warranty - Martin only 1 I like the obe kit - more than Martin although not as many hire companies have stock at the moment....
