There's no way a 0-10V control signal would drive a relay coil.

please dont tell my little reed relays that,they are very happy being driven from a 0-10v output from a pulsar demux

As for driving a relay of a dimmer output,depending on how the dimmer works theres a good chance youll end up with a nice buzzer

Input current for a G3NE-220T-US-DC12 solid state mains relay (20A) is 10mA. My demux here has an output current rating of 40mA. Seems doable.

 

Sorry, you're right if you are careful with relay selection. Most of the ones I normally use need a few hundred mA which would not work.
