Experianced AV Technician

Firefly Audio Visual Solutions Ltd are hiring. We're looking for a full time experienced AV Event Technician. The position is based at our Leeds office. You would require a clean driving liecence.

The successful candidate must be well presented as we're a corporate AV company and deal mainly with company conferences and live events.

 

Your responsibilities would include;

 

- Communicating with clients.

- Quoting on upcoming jobs.

- Advising on equipment and services.

- Processing hire enquiries.

- Mmanaging equipment booking.

- Delivering and installing equipment.

- Working with our team of engineers and freelance staff.

- Setting up and testing equipment before an event

- Finding and dealing with any faults

- Operating equipment during rehearsals and events

- Checking equipment before and after an hire

 

If you are applying for this position we would expect you to have a good knowledge of;

 

- Sennheiser Radio Microphones

- Digital and Analog audio mixers

- Digital Projectors

- PowerPoint/Keynote

- PC/Mac Computers

- Video switchers and mixers

- Large format displays (LED screens)

- 3G-SDi systems

 

Knowledge of the following isn't essential but would be an advantage. You wouldn't be required to know everything as we use freelancers for key skilled positions.
