Come and join the technical and rigging team at the National Centre for Circus Arts.

As part of the Operations department, the Technical Team facilitates the needs of the various programme areas, ensuring that training spaces and equipment are prepared and safe to use.

This varied role covers areas including, but not limited to, training space preparation, rigging and maintenance of circus equipment, rigging and maintenance of production technical equipment (LX, Sound, etc), assisting with policy development, and working on productions, projects and events.

The role would suit a self-motivated individual with an interest in, and experience of, circus rigging techniques, and/or of the production technical process. They should have the ability to implement practical solutions for the preparation and management of equipment and training spaces and the storage and layout of both rigged and floor-based equipment as well as carrying out regular inspection and maintenance regimes.

Sometimes Production Electrician, sometimes assistant show rigger, this role is a great opportunity for somebody interested in expanding their knowledge of performer flying and circus rigging.

This is a full time, permanent position with a salary of £23K

Deadline for applications 9th July.

Full details, job description and application pack are here:http://www.nationalc...ties/technician
