We supply to dealers, distributors and end users in over 80 countries. In addition to our international headquarters in High Wycombe we have a Northern sales office in Leeds and sister companies in Europe, North America and Asia.

 

Working within the Event Production and Demo Department based in High Wycombe, the role will support the In-house Production Manager, sales and projects teams by providing demonstration equipment for exhibitions and demos to customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of display equipment for exhibition and event purposes
  • Setting up demos both in house and occasionally offsite, as well as assisting with exhibition preparation and construction
  • Maintain stock control using the demo database and equipment records
  • Ensure that all demo storage, preparation and display areas are kept tidy
  • Ensure all products are kept up to date with software and hardware upgrades
  • Assist in the preparation of display equipment for exhibition and event purposes
  • Preparation and testing of various lighting equipment for customer viewing and preparation of some audio, video and rigging equipment as required
  • Department administration, paperwork and filing
  • Dispatch of demonstration equipment for customer viewing
  • Working to tight deadlines

The role is full time but frequently there is the opportunity for off-site work as per the needs of the business;including work at weekends and evenings/overnight to assist in the preparation and construction of display equipment for exhibition and event purposes

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous industry experience is required
  • Working knowledge of industry equipment on site; including set up, use and de-rigging
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Flexible
  • Able to work in a fast-moving department
  • Keen eye for detail
  • An IPAF qualification is advantageous, as is a PAT testing qualification and Fork lift licence
  • Previous CAD/WYG/Lighting Software experience is beneficial

The salary is negotiable depending on experience but starts from £20000 per annum.
