We supply to dealers, distributors and end users in over 80 countries. In addition to our international headquarters in High Wycombe we have a Northern sales office in Leeds and sister companies in Europe, North America and Asia.

 

Working within the Event Production and Demo Department based in High Wycombe, the role will supervise the team in supporting the sales and projects departments by providing demonstration equipment for exhibiting to customers.

 

Experience in the entertainment industry or rental sector and a good sense of humour are advantageous.

 

The following are a range of responsibilities in this role:

  • Supervising the daily running of the department
  • Coordinating a team of technicians; delegate duties, oversee preparation and repairs of stock,paperwork and administration, dispatching equipment etc.
  • Preparing and testing various lighting, audio, video and rigging equipment for demonstrating to customers
  • Overseeing the performance management of the team including setting objectives and assisting with weekly department meetings
  • Assisting with recruitment and training of new staff
  • Ensuring all products are kept up to date with software and hardware upgrades
  • Ensuring that processes are followed, reviewed and updated at all times
  • Setting up demos both in house and occasionally offsite, as well as assisting with exhibition preparation and construction
  • Chasing stock that needs returning from both sales staff and suppliers

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is essential
  • Experience or knowledge of the entertainment industry would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Flexible and patient
  • Fork lift licence and MEWP experience (advantageous)

The salary is negotiable but starts at £25000 per annum.
