Cortex provides vocational training to industry professionals, venues, agencies and production companies.Cortex is based in London and works across the UK. We are currently recruiting CAD technicians to help teach our AutoCad for events course. The role would suit event technicians and engineers that are skilled at producing 2D event plans using AutoCad. This is a freelance role that pays a good day rate.Travel expenses and PD's are paid when applicable. The courses typically last two days - each day lasts around six hours. The course involves teaching students the 2D functions of AutoCad in an event context.Teaching aids, course notes, lesson plans and AV equipment will be supplied by Cortex as required. We tend to try and run courses around the tutor's availability so this can be a good source of work to fill up empty days in the month. We are also interested in meeting SketchUp and Vectorworks technicians.
