Ibiza2018 Posted January 31, 2019 Share Posted January 31, 2019 TECHNICAL MANAGER WANTED FOR OUTDOOR ELECTRONIC MUSIC VENUE IN IBIZA We're recruiting for a Technical Manager to plan and oversee the installation, operation, maintenance & management of all technical (Lights, Video, SFX, Power) systems within the Ibiza Rocks Hotel venue space. We put on a variety of DJ and PA focused electronic music acts at daytime (2pm - 9pm) pool parties across the summer season from mid May to end of September. You'll be Chief Technician on our headline talent events, operating lighting, video and SFX systems with assistance from our lighting and video technician and assistants. You'll be the on-site point of contact for visiting lighting and video engineers, and will be comfortable providing assistance and support during the advance for the shows on technical related matters. You'll be responsible for preventive maintenance, fault finding and managing repair of systems as and when required. To be considered for this position, you must have a strong technical production understanding from within the events industry. This is a busy, fast-paced environment so the ideal candidates should be a team player, can work under pressure and will have fine attention to detail.
