Salary: From £160 per show

 

West Midlands.

 

Overnight accommodation provided.

 

Travel supplied – Pick up point Stourbridge.

 

 

Primary Role.

 

The Lighting Technician is responsible for ensuring a high level of production from both yourself and the equipment provided. You will work with the Technical Crew and Equipment Manager to maintain and develop the Technical offering of the production to ensure it retains its reputation as a High-class Production Company.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• On events the Lighting Technician will need to work in close contact with the Production Company and Venue staff, working from information supplied to them by the Event and Production Management Team, in the form of a technical sheet.
• Continuous improvement to stay up to date with new products and Technologies, identifying new ways of developing production equipment.
• To Provide creative design and lighting solutions to add value to our Productions. These designs are to be of a standard which reinforces and builds the reputation of creative services provided by the Production Company, whilst also considering time and budget availability. The design requirement will include the provision of detailed lighting plans and focus notes.
• Will be responsible for maintaining safe working practices on and during the build and de-rig of events, and ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
• It is important the standard of presentation and equipment is maintained at the company. The Lighting Technician is responsible for reporting all defects of equipment to the Technical Manager.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

• Proven experience in Lighting design, Flying, Operation and Programming of an Avolites Quartz with Fader wing.
• Can do attitude, with attention to quality and detail.
• Good communication skills, passion and commitment.
• Display the ability of a positive and proactive attitude towards work and colleague's
