PDF Viewer With OSC Control

I've written a program to display PDF files in a window.  You can control the displayed page by sending OSC messages to it.

Although I wrote it to display scripts and change page under control of MultiPlay, it can be controlled by any program sending OSC messages.

I'm kind of fascinated by the various uses this might get put to.  It sound simultaneously like a piece of technology that exists just because it's possible, but also ripe for creative uses.

Script or music on screens might be a good application. You could timecode your page turns. Or use osc buttons/pedals (or sensors or...) for next/prev.

Exactly. That's why I went with OSC as the control as it's so common these days and can work locally or over a LAN.

Be professional stream deck button pushers instead! It’s a win-win: less arm extension means less effort; and no risk of paper cuts
