Mush
The forum www.lightnetwork.com has moved to its own server away from Delphi. It tends to be a bit more U.S. centred than here but is a very useful resource. The move has included the archive of postings from the last 8 years and is now fully searchable giving another place to look up those odd questions that may have come up before. david.elsbury
Just to add to that, whilst they have moved forum software the web address is still the same.
Bryson
Just been reading it: Looks like they're using custom-written software by the guy who runs Redmonkey. Sounds interesting! Apparently, Commercial Forum software is just too expensive. Well, we don't run any ads and we can afford it.... :P

Apparently, Commercial Forum software is just too expensive. Well, we don't run any ads and we can afford it.... :PThat's commercial forum *sites* not software. Your average commercial web based forum application is typically a one off payment in the region of £150, that one off payment invariably includes updates and upgrades for the lifetime of the product, actually, I consider that to be a bargain (assuming of course, it meets your requirements). In my experience a custom software solution is definately never the cheaper option, sometimes it's the only option, and certainly in this case, the pros of such a solution far out-weigh the cons.
